We
moved here a year ago from CA.
My husband went outside to water the yard. I was in
our room reading. He came in and said, "Oh wow, I thought
you came outside and wanted me for something."
I told him no and asked why, what's up? He said he went
to turn on the water and someone said, HEY to him and
when he turned around it walked around the side of the
house.
WE just know it was a spirit. You know how you just
know, can't explain?
I went outside to see hoping it would be there but,
nothing. The dogs were quiet.

We believe and we have a open mind. I hope it comes back
so it will reveal itself to me. I want to communicate
with it. Native Americans lived here on this land.

I
saw a ghost at work, it was approx. 3 am.
I am a shift worker and that involved regular checks
off my area, on such a check I saw a man of Italian
appearance walk past me 20 metres away and then disappear,
it is a noisy area but I know what I saw, the factory
is about 50 years old.
Some say it was just tired eyes but I know I saw the
old gent and I hope he will rest in peace soon. |
Other
people have seen this too. I had a clear view as he stopped
and looked at me. The factory was cockburn cement in the
raw mill area others will confirm this.

Quarantine Station

I
visited the Manly Quarantine Station a couple of years
ago. I must admit that I did not expect to experience
anything strange that night.
I was standing in front of the fireplace in the old
hospital ward that is now an exhibition room. I was
focused on reading a blurb about all the diseases that
they treated near a plaster cast of an arm that had
smallpox all over it.
I felt the firm touch of a hand on my right shoulder
& top of my arm. Without looking, I just assumed that
it was my partner. When I looked up, my partner was
on the other side of the room. The closest person to
me was our tour guide! I told him what had happened
& he said that such experiences were commonplace! |

Guardian
Angel or Ghost?

Last
year I had really wanted to see a ghost... see what
they were like and experience that sort of thing..
A few months after that, I woke up one morning, really
early... it was like 5am, still totally dark.. something
made me lean up and look over the covers at the end
of my bed. (im getting really spooked typing this even)
I saw two figures ... faint but definitely two figures
sitting on the end of my bed in the dark.. kind of pale...
I just stared at them... for all of two seconds then
I submerged back into the safety of my blankets... I
stayed there and told myself it was all my imagination..
Then I felt something start to depress the blanket down
on my leg near my foot... like a hand pressing down
softly, it touched my leg lightly.. then it started
to slide up my leg and when this happened, I freaked
and threw the blankets up and ran past the end of the
bed out the door, (closing it) and out to the far end
of the house and slept there... |
Even
then, I did not sleep... It was impossible to go back
to sleep, My room was diretly down the other end, the
doorway visible down the hallway. Later, when I had
started to relax myself and get comfortable, I felt
a very definite press of the blanket right on the tip
of my big toe which was pointing up. My back erupted
in goosebumps and that made sure I didn't go to sleep
at all.
I was too scared to go back into my room for clothes
that morning, and slept out of my room for a week before
I summoned the courage to go back inside. I still get
the feeling Im not alone and I'm constantly checking
over my shoulder to make sure I'm alone in my room.
I really want to move out.
People tell me, everyone has a guardian angel, and that
it was my guardian.. I hope it was.

hello,
i would like to share my experience with you and i am
sorry if english will suck a bit ;)
ok, i had 15 years or so and i was enjoying a full year
in Madrid - Spain with my family cause my father had
to work in there, all was well till one day riding with
my mountain bike (whose i had the passion for them)
i came across a sign while going a almost 30km/s as
shown on the bike, this sign was like 4 lights, just
like the normal one but when 1 light goes of, the next
turn on, i didn't understand that this was a sign like
SLOWDOWN because there is another road intersecting
it, i said ...BAHHH... as the road is all downhill and
running real fast all i remember is i saw a car, the
face of the driver, me saying NO (low afraid tone) and
don't remember anything else ,didn't feel anything ,probably
like dead.
i woke in the hospital with the side near my eye open
with almost u could see the bone, i was totally full
of blood around my body, i done a little operation to
close the enjury , when i woke didn't remember my name
or who's my family...
slowly begun to remember all, that same day i went home
many hours later with a big headache, didn't eat anything,
tired i try to sleep with my father next to me sitting
on a chair afraid for me..
the day passed and i am a bit ok, but if my mother opens
the courtains or a window , i pass out, lose consciounce..
i cured after a month of everything ,but my personality
have changed a lot, i became a bit more emotional, i
started to get an interest for the paranormal, i became
more open with people , but i somehow become more afraid
of SOMETHING, don't know what, i had a window next to
my bed and sometimes i would not sleep and cover my
head with the sheet afraid that something may come from
the window, is like i feel something around, i started
to get also and rarely some visions..
i must say i never thought or cared for anything of
this, i was just the next crap guy who you would love
or hate with just one meeting...
back to what i said, i had posters of Nirvana band,
ozzy, Soundgarden, i love music, but one night around
9:00 pm i was reading a magazine saying that tonight
may jesus appear in the sky or something like this...of
course i said is a bunch of lies as always....NOT!!!
i started to stare at a poster of Ozzy and i swear to
god i could see (even if not very defined) the face
of JESUS, i never cared for religion, i still have till
now my doubt about religion ,so don't take me as a religion
freak, but i swear i saw his face, can't understand
if was smiling or keeping a normal face, my mom stared
at me and said ,hey what's wrong??...i said there's
a face in the picture, i told her to take out the picture
and throw it right now!!
time passed, all fine, i started to get what i would
call sensitiveness, not that i see ghosts or monsters
or anything, but i can sense the feelings of a person
in front, it's hard to explain but, for example :
"i am going out, my father is smiling at me, give me
some money....if he is angry cause i am going out but
laughing to make me happy, I KNOW he is lying, even
if he swear that he is not!".
i get all kind of premonitions but indirecly, like..
i talk to an MSN friend while playing chess on MSZONE,
i started to tell him a story just to make him afraid,
but the story is a lie, i said that i was in the house
and in the kitchen appeared a dead cat making a wierd
sound, and all kind of lies to scare him..... good... |
next day, at 11:15am i see my father catching his face,
what happend i ask, he said MISHO the cat i loved so
much has fallen from the 6th floor in front of my eyes!
i understood that what i said has happend, but what
is the difference, is that i said a dead cat IN the
kitchen, while the real cat was OUTSIDE the kitchen,
but anyway there is a DEAD cat whatever it is, so means
i knew and not coincidence.
because is too hot right now, i turn on the air condition
i go out the house i turn it off, but strange 2 days
ago i went out but this time made something different,
i turned the knob so that is on OFF mode, if you click
the button, the Air Conditioner won't work, strange
but true it happend only on this day ONLY.
so, i came from outside a few hours later, my mother
told me, hey, i cleaned your room and was so hot, your
father told me, why don't you close the door and windows
and turn on the air condition "it never happend before
this", my mother told me when she try to turn it on,
it didn't work so she left it alone and didn't touch
anything...
when she saw me go up, turn the Knob and tell her, I
KNEW!
she said, it's the first time we get this idea, but
how you knew, i said something in my mind was telling
me to turn the knob off because someone might try to
use your air conditioner, she stared in disbelief.
Now, all that happend to me as you read might have an
explanation or may not, but i have the feeling i became
a Psychic or Sensitive man but with a weak link to what
may happened, i can know you lie, you are sad ,your
are happy, you can't hide your emotions from me at all
and amazes people that i don't show up after being with
them laughing all night and i tell them, YOUR LAUGHS
WERE NOT REAL AND I HATE BEING USED, they may argue,
but i know the real truth.
about knowing what WILL happend next, this is more of
something that happend to me a bit less, occasionally
it happend, however 75% of my dreams become true almost
the same day, i can dream of something and it happened,
and i can say 75% is not low at all, it scares me sometimes
because when i sense something, either a ghost, a lie
or just anything, i become a bit muted, i don't suffer
of mental illness at all if u are thinking about it,
been to a psychiatric doctor and after a month he said,
man why you came here, you are in excellent mental state,
i did Brain MRI, radiography and all kind of medical
stuff with excellent results all the time.
it doesn't bother me to live with it, but i have a question
if someone can answer it...
does accident really can open up a part of the brain
that is locked giving you special abilities or powers
you never knew, like being as i am and much more?
if it's possible for a site or link, or an answer, would
be really happy.

Prospect
Haunting

I
have always believed in the paranormal, it was always
a favourite topic of discussion amongst my parents and
some of their friends, and I loved listening to their
scary stories.
When I was 22, I had my own paranormal experience. Much
more than I ever cared to have, might I add.
It was 1992 and my then fiancé at the time and our son,
moved into a beautiful big brick home in Prospect, it
seemed ideal! The rent was very cheap considering how
nice the house was, and it wasn't very far from my family
either.
Not long after moving into the house though, we began
hearing some funny sounds throughout the house after
we had gone to bed.
It sounds weird, but there was an odd popping sound
which I swear sounded like someone had sat on my closed
toilet seat and then got up, and the toilet seat popping
back into shape!
Footsteps were also heard, constantly up and down the
hallway. My son who was only a tot at the time, would
wake up screaming every night at precisely midnight,
until I put him into my bedroom with me. I would hear
my sons toy train, which had it a little bell on it,
ring, I would go to see if my son was awake only to
find him snoring soundly.
My fiancé didn't believe in ghosts, and always managed
to try and find a logical reason for the sounds we were
hearing at first. But after one incident late one night
when we had gone to bed, all was quiet when suddenly
there was the loudest crash, We both jumped out of bed
and raced towards where we'd heard the sound, expecting
a burglar only to find absolutely nothing, nothing had
fallen, nothing was unlocked and we were alone.
After that he decided he had been a bit hasty on his
no such thing as ghosts theory.
I also have witnesses, so I know I'm not entirely crazy
here!
I had my entire family over for Christmas dinner. (12
people) when my windows began vibrating with such a
force, (it is impossible to replicate it!) then as my
Mum walked out of the lounge room to go to the bathroom,
the lounger door slowly swung shut behind her. My mum
returned to find 11 people sitting there with their
mouths wide open!
I would hear rustling in my kitchen, like someone was
going through my empty shopping bags! Things also moved
about, I would return from shopping to find my coffee
mugs had been taken off the mug tree and placed onto
my kitchen windowsill.

And I often caught a glimpse out of the corner of my
eye, a blonde child's head peeking around my lounge
room doorway, but whenever I looked directly it vanished.
I feel I possibly had 2 spirits in this house, one was
a man, and although I hadn't seen him myself, friends
who had been visiting had, and had asked "oh is your
other half home?"
"No" I'd reply, and they'd always say, "Oh, well I just
saw a man walk into your bedroom!"
The first year I lived there I was so scared, I found
the only way I could get to sleep without strange noises
was to set up a tape recorder in the hall way, It was
funny because whenever I did that, all would be quiet.
I really had wanted to move, but it seemed everything
was against me moving, so I persisted and stayed. I
learned to live with my visitors, when they scared my
guests I'd tell them to go away and stop it, and they
usually did, but they always came back. There were so
many occurrences in that house that I'd be here all
day telling you about them all!
I stayed in that house for almost 3 years in the end,
and I can't say I was sad to leave my friends behind,
but I often wonder if they're still there!
UPDATE!
I
firstly would like to say i really enjoy your site,
keep up the great work.
Secondly and more importantly, I submitted a story
a few months ago, titled "Prospect Haunting".
On the weekend I was searching through an old box
of photographs, when i came across this photograph
(see below) taken at the Prospect house. The photo
was taken in the scariest room of the house (my spare
room, where my guests would start the night, but I'd
find them camping in my lounge room in the morning).
I never knew what the dots in photograph were before,
but since i've been checking out some paranormal sites,
i can certainly recognise an orb when i see one! And
was shocked to count 5 clear orbs in this photo.....Im
still stunned!

Strange
Scratches

When
I was 16, I started experiencing scratches on my arms.
I think they would appear while I was asleep. I would
find them in the morning while taking a shower, and
I would feel a burning sensation. The scratches would
last for about a few day after a period of time they
stop.
Now, they have started again at age of 24, but now I
get them all over my body (especially stomach, arms
and legs) while I am awake. I feel them every few minutes,
regardless where i am. I feel a stinging/burning sensation,
and within a few seconds either scratches OR subtle
marks patterns appear on my skin.
Sometimes, the marks resemble letters or numbers, especially
the number 3. I had a cousin, who I was very close to,
who died when we were young. Her birthday fell on October
3 (possible connection?).
The scratches are thin, but they swell up slightly.
I'm very confuse what is happening and why.
Any answer would be appreciated. |

So
far, I have never come across another paranormal experience
like this one!
One day I was waiting in a doctor's office waiting room
(ears, nose & throat) there were others in the same
area waiting.
Now I hate waiting, and picked up a magazine and began
flipping through it and stopped at a page with article
and picture.
If I remember correctly I think it was an anniversary
story on the Tiananmen Square massacre. When I opened
the page my nose was assulted by the smell of blood
and decay for there was a photo of a bloodly mangled
body. I slammed the pages shut. I sat there for a few
seconds wondering if I had really experienced that!
I opened the magazine again to the page and the same
horrific smell came out!
