| There is this small mining town just outside Adelaide and it is believed its haunted. so my cousins and i went there on a trip.
we went to the local cementery around 8pm and sat around for a while just talking as nothing was happening. a half an hour into it, we hear a stone being thrown and saw it land in front of us. we let it go as we didnt know what it was. i got up and yelled.
IS ANYONE HERE?
then i heard a few more rocks come towards me... i got a little scared but i stayed put. i the went into someones grave and said touch me if there is someone there. i reached out my arm and felt a warmth coming up from the grave. i walked away and then felt someone touch me. i went back to the group and tried to talk to them.
then we just started hearing alot more stones being thrown. as we stood at the entrance my camera ran out of film and was off but it flashed twice which became very eiree.
we walked up to the top of the grave and had bigger stones being thrown but they started to be directed at us. i was stayng near the isle side and this fairly big rock came from the left of me and hit a steel post as got reflected into my leg. i yelled and started to worry. we kept walking and another rock got directed at me however it bounce of the ground and into my hand. as we kept walking, we heard a huge bang. a huge rock hit the caretakers shed.
we took off and are planning to go back. |

Me and my husband had just moved into our new house. Our old house reminded us too much of our deceased daughter, Amanda.
We hadn't lived there long when I fell pregnant. Everything was fine for the whole nine months and I gave birth to our new baby girl, Alisha.
I never beleived in ghosts until the night we were able to bring Alisha home from the hospital. We set her up in a cot beside the bed on my side.
That night i couldn't help but think of our poor Amanda and how much i missed her. I fed Alisha and then my husband and i went to sleep.
I was awoken by something at about 11:34. I looked over to see Alisha sitting up in her cot with a look of sorrow on her face. I couldn't beleive what i was seeing, i quickly woke my husband up and pointed in the direction of Alisha. He looked as shocked as i was.
|
Alisha opened her mouth and began to speak... i'll never forget her words.
"Mum and Dad, I miss you. I'm okay where i am and now you have Alisha to look after. I lov! e you both, and I always will."
After this was said Alisha laid back down, and went back to sleep. My husband and i couldn't help but cry for most of the night. We will never forget what happened. And Amanda will always be close to our hearts.

Haunted Boarding School

i was at work one day when my boss came running over to my area as i work in a school cleaning.
i am 16 years old and believe in ghosts but this really terrified me no one seems to believe my story but u had to be there to believe it....
my boss came running over to get me and a lady i work with she told me a girl who was cleaning another room heard noises and to come listen to them...
so we went over. the noises sounded as if someone had breathing problems. mind you this was at 10 to 7 at night and no one was around except 5 cleaners.
the noise got louder and louder next minute it made a screaming noise..... It terrified all of us by then all 5 of us were there in the same room together so we know it wasnt a prank...
The story is the school used to also be a boarding school back in the 1950's untill one day a man that was in World War 2 climbed up a ladder and went through a window that lead into the boarding rooms, where the girls were sleeping. |
the man had a metal plate put into his head most likely from an injury in world war 2... He went to take a 6 year old girl when a older girl aged 16 said dont take her she is only young if your going to take anyone take me... So he took her to a park raped and stabbed her to death her name was Nelly..
We believe that it was either the world war 2 man or Nelly returned that night the noises went on from 10 to 7 untill 10 to 9 on a tuesday night and within that time the noise got that loud u could hear it out side....

Hitchhiker ghost in the Central Coast?
Submitted by: Mark - Central Coast, Australia (Added 22/06/04)

I'm hoping somebody can validate this story for me as I have only heard it second hand.
Its the story of a girl who was raped and murdered whilst hitchhiking along The Entrance road from The Entrance to Toukley, there has been a number of accounts where a female is picked up not long after the muder around 12.00am on a Wednesday Night along that road, talks normally in the car then dissappears when reaching the cemetery.
This would happen alot and stopped after something had happened to the 3 guys responsible (Sorry the story is a bit sketchy and could be just a myth).
But very curious if somebody knows the true story.
Hi Mark, I have heard a similar story about the girl on this road and would like to know more too! If anyone has any further information please contact us.

Dad's Garden
Submitted by: Annabell - Sydney, Australia (Added 22/06/04)

Hi guys,
This is my first posting on this site, my experience was with my dad he past away in the year 2000 from a aneurysm. 3 days before he was to be buried I stayed at my mother's place. there were my two brothers, his daughter and myself.
We were going through dad things and getting rid of lots of old stuff, you see dad was a hoarder he didn't throw any thing away.
He loved his garden and would plant flowers and vegtables all the time. When any one came to the house to visit he would always give them something to take home they never left empty handed. It would be vegetables or some flowers from his garden.
While my mother, brothers and my brothers daughter were doing the inside stuff, I decided to clean the front garden up. As it was getting late I only did half of the garden and decide to do the rest in the morning.
I woke up the next morning made a cup of tea and headed out to the front to finish the rest of the garden. When I got out there the garden was finished! The soil was turned and it was free of weeds. |
I called out to my mother, my other brothers and my brothers daughter, they came out. They asked me what was wrong. I asked them if they finished the garden. All of them said no, no one had touched the garden, they asked me why and I told them that I didn't finish the front garden the day before, and meant to finish it this morning but it was already done.
We all just stood there and looked at each other. We did not know what to say. That day I think we were feeling good about dad dropping in to lend a helping hand.

One night I had a dream (at least i think it was) that their was a scottish looking guy standing near my window looking at onto the moon, when I woke up, there he was standing at the window. this time he was looking at me and he walked over to my bed and sat down,he just stared at me.
I ducked under my quilt and a of couple mins later i looked up, and it was gone, i had eventually fallen asleep. It was a really freaky experience.
Can someone tell me what this means?? |

Departing Spirit?

Me and a friend whom I work with who wishes to go unnamed were walking near our work in Darling Harbour when we both felt as if someone had barged through between us, noone was there.
we both commented on this.
When we turned the corner and began the walk towards STARCITY, we saw that a cyclist had been hit by a ute.
He was badly hurt. Not sure if he died, but it was a scary experience.

11.11
Submitted by: Kane - Australia (Added 22/06/04)

my experience is seeing the time 11.11 for two years straight day, or night every time i looked at the clock.
this november it will be 2 years ago that my grandma (also my mother as she brought sisters and brothers up) passed away. near my grandmas headstone is another headstone where the person passed away on the 11.11 and across from my grans headstone the person who died was born on the 11.11.
i find this freaked out. i also dreamt that my gran died a year or so before it happened. my 2 brothers also dreamt of our grans death and also my 2 sisters dreamt of nans death, of course all the dreams were different.
this is freaky also although we all loved our granny very much and always will. |

The Presence
Submitted by: Megan - Sydney, Australia (Added 22/06/2004)

for as long as i can remember, i have felt a 'presence' about me. it only occurs when i'm home, and usually in my bedroom. i suppose becuase a bedroom is your domain, where you are most at ease and accessable.
i've never seen anything, or had things moved, but i do feel it beside me, always beside me or slightly behind.
often when the hair stands on the back of my neck, i feel the 'warmth' of the being beside me, enough to make me turn around, and find nothing there. i have also an aversion to looking into a mirror when the light isn't on, does that mean something to anyone? i can't bring myself to do it, ever, the light must be on.
when i was asleep one night, soon after a fire in my bedroom, caused by an unattended candle, i was woken by my mother standing at the door. only it wasn't her, and by this i mean, my head was turned away from the open doorway when i was jolted awake from a deep sleep to feel 'it' and hear someone very close to my ear whisper feircely 'HEY!', only to make me think it was mum at the door, so i looked and saw nothing. This kind of thing only ever happens when i'm lying on my back. seem strange?
on another occassion i was studying at my desk and could hear mum in the kitchen cooking dinner, we live in a single story house, and then vaguely remember drowning out the clatter and clang of the kitchen, only to suddenly feel the 'presence' at the door and again hear the feirce whisper 'HEY!', i looked up expecting to see mum say dinner was ready but no one was there, seconds later as i went cold, the hairs stood on the back of my neck, my mum yelled out that dinner was ready. |
i can't say this all makes me feel safe, it's not like i've felt the presence and then something bad or good has happened, it's not on that kind of scale, but it's always with me, in that room, watching me but not neccessarily protecting me. it happened that on one occassion i felt it so strongly in the corner of my room i was forced to shout out at it, telling it to leave me alone, and that it was scaring me, then it was 'gone'. since then i've moved to a different bedroom and have not experienced it so far, and my sister says nothing like that has happened to her since moving in to my room, but to this day i can't really go in there, especially when no one's in there before me.
we live in a normal suburb, with no ghosts or goblins to fear, except for my room, and my room only.
