About the tour
The Macquarie Park Cemetery (formerly Northern Suburbs Cemetery) comprises approximately 160 acres of beautifully landscaped grounds. It is owned by the NSW Government and operated by a Board of Trustees. The first burial took place on 20th April 1922.
Under the cover of darkness, apart from the abundant native fauna and flora, we’ll show you many fascinating graves, including:

Cost $29 per head (includes light refreshments at the end of the tour)
- Meet outside the cemetery gates on Plassey Road, North Ryde at 715pm. Secure parking will be available inside the gates.
- Bookings are essential.
- Departs at 7.30pm
- Duration 2 hours
- Maximum number of persons on the tour is 20
Some walking (level ground) involved, wear suitable enclosed shoes and bring an umbrella if raining. Lanterns will be provided or bring your own torch.
