Walking tour by lantern light through 1830's house just outside historic town of Stanley with two tour guides. Cost: $10 for 1.5 hours $5 children Bring: good walking shoes, warm clothing (very windy much of the time), camera. Be warned young children can find tour a bit too scary so people are advised to tell tour operator if young children are going to be present. There is walking up and down stairs involved so not advised for people who have trouble with stairs. Bookings essential, tour operates between January and April starting after dark (remember daylight savings in Tasmania so tour can start as late as 9:00pm), tour operates for 4 or more people, can take groups of up to 30.
