One of the treasures of Australia's architectural heritage, Old Government House was the country residence of New South Wales Governors until the 1850s. It now houses the Nation's most important collection of early Australian furniture and tells the stories of early Governors. Old Government House is the only building in Australia which contains 18th century interiors complete with joinery, doors and other details. Old Government House is available for function hire and groups are welcome by appointment.
