Allan the owner and the driver was great and it was a VERY spooky evening. I have alreday told all of my friends that they've got to take this tour!

Husband
John and I went on this tour early this year. We had met Alan previously.
At that stage Alan did the commentary himself but I believe he now
has a tape. It was very interesting and I enjoyed looking at the
seedy side of Sydney and his stories. Not too many ghosts but it
was fun to watch everyone stare at us riding in a hearse. We had
a nice stop under the harbour bridge for a drink and a bikkie and
talked to the tourists as they went by.
All participants can look at his stories in hard copy and are given
a tape. A different tour and certainly worth going on. We took the
late afternoon one so it was getting dark by the time we finished
and the twilight gave it more atmosphere.

Last
night a group of 8 of us did Destiny Tours ghost hunt in a hearse.
We all enjoyed it a lot, especially when Allan took us to the Street
with No Name.
One of the group captured strange orange lights on his video, then
when we went around the back part, a couple of the people in the
group were very reluctant to proceed and didn't like the feeling
there. However we went on, and the guy next to me stopped suddenly,
saying he saw someone up ahead. We shone the torches everywhere
but could not see or hear anything, however he was adamant that
he saw something or someone. Because it was a dead end, if someone
were there, there was no way they could have just disappeared, and
although no one else saw anything, this guy wasn't imagining it,
he was genuinely a little shaken up and kept mentioning it the rest
of the night....
Elvira the famous haunted hearse is truly gorgeous and the rest
of the tour was fabulous too, except for Allan's singing!

This
has to be one of the best tours I've been on. The mixture of strange
stories and ghostly tales which are told by Elvira the hearse (yes
she speaks!!!!) was fantastic, and having lived in Sydney all my
life I found out a LOT of things that I'd never heard before.
Allan really does a fantastic job and travelling around in Elvira
was heaps of fun - it's hilarious seeing people double take when
they see us driving by!
This tour is a MUST! I'd definitely recommend the longer tours and
bring your friends along, you're guaranteed a great night!
