Ever thought about the paranormal movies that are based on true incidents? Horrifying, isn’t it? A little girl of 10 several undergoing exorcisms, a boy who can talk to the spirits and much more. Well, not all movies are scripted. There are real facts and proves that such incidents have been faced by the families. This, makes the movie even more scary and you don’t really relax anymore, do you?

Here are a few movies that are based on real life incidents.

The Exorcist (1973)

This movie revolves around the life of a boy, Roland Doe, who was owned by several demons back in 1949. The process of exorcism performed on the boy to get rid of the demons was one horrific experience. There are people who have witnessed the incident, whose names are mentioned in the book that was published, and helped in the filming of the movie.

Child’s Play (1988)

The movie is about a nurse who had cursed one of the dolls of Robert Eugene Otto. He had to deal with the doll, and it had become a threat to him for both his days and nights. Dolls at times.Are really scary, and when thinking of a cursed doll, it really does give you goosebumps.

The Amityville Horror (2005)

The movie talks about the lives of the Lutz family from Amityville, which was once normal, but suddenly disturbed by a series of paranormal events that happened in their house at 112, Ocean Avenue, around the year 1975. The movie has often been discussed among the team of paranormal investigators when talked about the paranormal activities.

A Nightmare on Elm Street (2010)

The movie revolves around a series of nightmares experienced by a group of high school students and soon after, all of them die. They were followed by a man in their dreams who is responsible for the cause of their deaths in real life. The movie is basically based on the series of the death of a group of Laotian Refugees caused as a result of troubled nightmares.

The Girl Next Door (2007)

The movie revolves around a girl, Sylvia Likens, who was troubled, tortured and killed by Gertrude Baniszweski around the year 1965, in Indiana State. This incident inspired in the further making of the movie.

The Conjuring (2013)

The Conjuring is another movie from the doll mysteries. The movie revolves around the lives of a family with little girls, who are troubled by the paranormal activities. Paranormal investigators, Ed and Lorraine Warren reveal that they had a really difficult time working on a case like this.

These movies are a must watch, but to keep movies based on real life incidents in your computers or laptops or anywhere is not really a good idea. Incidents that haunted the life of people living at a certain time cannot really provide entertainment. Do watch the movies, and afterwards, remove the movies from where you have stored them.
