Terrifying
Dreams

Hi
people,
I know my soul is a reincarnation of my Great, Great
Grandmother, so not many things can alarm me, but my
experiences in a house I once lived in scared me to
the point I was afraid to sleep at night without inducing
myself to sleep.
I have always been able to remember my dreams quite
well, but these ones I don't care to remember.
I would dream that masked men would enter the room where
my Husband and I would be soundly asleep and proceed
to stab us to death. These men would straddle each of
us and stab fast at our chests.
These dreams terrified me so much that during the ordeal
I would scream in a voice which was not my own. My Husband
got to the point where he would get ready for these
dreams to happen so he could wake me without getting
hurt himself for I would thrash, scratch, punch, kick
and scare the hell out of him.
After he would wake me I would cry uncontrollably for
30 mins, shaking in terror for these dreams were so
real. |
One night I placed a long cassette into the recorder
and put in under the bed, so my husband wouldn't know
I had it going, he wanted me to get it out of my head,
not keep a record of it.
The voice on the tape is much deeper than my own, I
know your voice always sounds weird on tape, but everyone
who has heard it says it's not me.
Thankfully, we have since moved and I am happy to say
I have never had this nightmare ever again.
The house was an old Farmhouse in Victoria. I really
believe something horrible happened in that house.

Cemetery Investigation

Out
of respect for a particular cemetery here in South Australia,
I shall make no mention as to the location of said cemetery,
and shall also change names of any deceased person used
throughout this experience.
I was part of a group of people conducting an investigation,
we visited this cemetery during the daylight hours to
get a feel for the place and to familiarise ourselves
with it. We had been told about a particular grave site
which has a lot of history behind it, and was told that
it was an unmarked grave, and was taken to see it. After
viewing this grave site, we walked further down towards
the outer perimeter and I noticed what appeared to be
a brand new grave, complete with the most beautiful
cast iron fencing and marker, I won't call it a headstone,
as it too was made of cast iron. As it turned out, this
new grave was placed here out of respect for the deceased
in the un-marked grave we looked at earlier, and it
also held the name of the deceased individual, no longer
was this person to rest in peace without being unknown.
Later that evening, we came back to the cemetery for
our investigation with the aid of infra-red video cameras.
I was filming over near the unmarked grave, about 20
metres away from it, a few colleagues came over with
their cameras and said "shall we go and film around
the unmarked grave and see if we can capture anything?"
So we all walked over to the unmarked grave, filming
along the way, nothing much appeared to be happening
so I said "how about we go film the brand new grave
and see if this person has gone over there?" We
all kept filming right up to the new grave, which must
have been a few minutes walk around all the other graves
to get there, I walked around to the bottom end of the
grave so I could film the deceased persons name, well,
just as I got to the foot of the grave, my camera was
switched off, not by me, but by something, also, one
of the other people filming had his camera all go out
of focus and it too started acting up, but the other
person in this group had no troubles whatsoever and
kept right on filming. |
I
am a male, the other person whose camera played up is
a male, and yes you guessed it, the other person whose
camera worked fine, is a female. The deceased person
who we where filming is a female. I guess she does not
like men, and I'm not at all surprised when you find
out the history of what this young female went through
in her life.
Anyway, my camera still would not switch back on until
we where about half way out of the cemetery, and then
it was as if nothing happened. I took note of how much
footage I had shot that night, 48 minutes and approx
25 seconds.
The next day, I set about transferring the footage from
the camera to a VHS tape, and just left it to do its
thing. I then proceeded to watch the video, when I got
to the end of the footage I said to myself "Hang-about,
something funny here" so I rewound for about ten
minutes and watched again, and again, and then it clicked,
I looked at the timer on the video recorder at the end
of the footage, 42 minutes exactly, where has the other
6 1/2 minutes of footage gone???? And yes you guessed
again, not only had this deceased person switched my
camera off, but she also wiped all of the footage that
had anything whatsoever to do with her.

Strange
Flashes
Submitted by: missteke - Adelaide, SA, Australia (05/05/02)

This
experience occurred over about a year.
At
the time I was engaged to a guy named Kim, and had just
moved into a new home. I had never lived alone before,
but after about a week I began feeling comfortable and
to enjoy the freedom it afforded.
Because
I lived on the other side of the city from Kim, and
neither of us drove, and it took about two and a half
hours to get to each others homes we didn't get to spend
a lot of time together, other than on the phone.
During
the second week of my living there I was watching TV,
and, as is my custom, I had the lights off, when all
of a sudden there was a bright green flash of light
from my bedroom which was off the lounge room. As it
was so fast I told myself that I'd imagined it and went
back to watching TV.
A
few days later it happened again. It seemed that every
few days it would occur. It never frightened me, and
after a while I came to the realisation that I was being
visited by someone or something. Soon I was being visited
on a nightly basis.
I
told Kim about it but he said it was just my "active
imagination" or that I was "freaked out"
by living alone for the first time.
Eventually
Kim got some time off work and came to stay with me
for two weeks. For the first week of his visit I was
visited every night, sometimes several times a night,
but only while we were sleeping. I know this because
so bright were the flashes that I was woken each time.
The flashes were so bright that when I opened my eyes
I could see spots! I would wake Kim and ask him if he'd
seen it but the answer was always the same. "You're
only dreaming it, love. Go back to sleep."
The
second week there were no more flashes, no more visible
visitations, apart from bottles, spoons and towels being
thrown at Kim, never at me, and only when I wasn't in
the same room as him.
Kim
got it into his mind that I was the one throwing these
things at him even though I wasn't even in the same
room as he was. I began putting the sharp knives, which
I kept in a knife block, in a locked draw in my room.
It was inconvenient but I felt it was necessary for
Kim's safety. He thought I was being paranoid or something,
but I didn't care. |
After
a few days Kim decided that he'd had "just about
enough" of MY "attitude" and went home.
That
night the flashes returned to normal.... Until Kim came
to stay again, then things would start flying and he'd
blame me.
This
destroyed our relationship, but as it turned out, that
was a good thing. I found out later that he'd been sleeping
with my best friends' boyfriends sister. The flashes
continued on a more frequent basis, usually three times
a night, sometimes more, sometimes less.
About
a year and a half ago, I moved to a new home and haven't
seen the flashes since. In a way I really miss them
they made me feel safe, even loved I guess.
To
this day I don't know if it was a jealous spirit or
one that was trying to stop me from making the worst
mistake of my life. Whatever, I'm just grateful to it.

Terrifying
Vision
Submitted by: missteke - Adelaide, SA, Australia (02/05/02)

I
have had several experiences over the last 28 years,
but there are two that stand out prominently in my mind.
This story is about my first ever ghostly experience.
This
occurred when I was all of 6 years old. At the time
I was living in a caravan on a property my parents owned
about 5 or 6 acres, located in Queensland, Australia.
One night, my neighbour and friend of the same age decided
to sneak out and meet up and go to the top paddock of
her parents property. We were forbidden to go there
and were curious as to why.
We
met at the border of our properties and left for the
top paddock, chatting and yawning as we went. We crawled
under the barbed-wire fence and walked towards the middle
of the field. Suddenly, out of no-where, there was an
ear shattering scream. We saw a white horse with a small
boy riding full pelt towards us.
We
were frozen with shock or fear or both, and the horse
and boy kept coming closer and closer, we could see
the horses eyes - they were glowing red. |
We
turned and ran as fast as we could. Thank God we hadn't
come too far from the fence, we dove under it just as
the ghost horse and boy pulled up, almost crashing into
the fence, spewing dust and dirt everywhere. We ran
and ran looking back over our shoulders every once in
a while. They didn't (or couldn't) follow us past the
fence, we didn't care we kept running till we reached
our homes. I crept back inside to cower under my blankets
for the rest of the night, shaking, jumping at every
sound.
When my mother and father got up the next morning and
saw the state of my pyjamas, grass stains, dirt, even
some blood on my back and hands from sliding under a
barbed-wire fence and not quite missing the wire, they
were furious to say the least.
Neither my friend nor I told my parents about our experience
till years later.

Peggy's
Message

i
have never told anyone about this cause i thought a
lot of people would make fun of me or think that i am
telling stories. but this really did happen, and i have
never been able to stay at home by myself since.
i am 15 this year and when i was 13 i was asking my
mother about all the pictures we have on our hallway,
they are all really old pictures of my past relatives.
she pointed out one that she thought was the weirdest.
Peggy, my great great grandmother, was born on 10th
May. i can't remember the year but the date scared me
cause its the same as my b'day. my great grandmother
said i look just like her. and when i was 14 she kept
calling me mum and she keep on going on about how much
she hated me. what happened with Peggy is that she killed
herself after giving birth to my great grandmother,
because she suffered from depression.
Now time for what happened to me.
i was 14 when i was home by myself for the night cause
my parents were out for dinner and my brother was at
a friends. i was in my room reading when i felt strange.
so i went out to the hall way when a big gust of wind
came through but the door was closed and locked for
security reasons.
i went over to see where the wind was coming from when
i heard a smashing sound behind me. the picture of peggy
was taking off the wall and smashed to the ground. glass
went everywhere i picked up the picture and cut myself
on the hand so i ran to the bathroom to put something
on it. i looked up in the mirror but i wasn't looking
at me. i saw Peggy, she said 'i'm sorry, tell her i'm
sorry' then she was gone, the bleeding stopped and the
cut wasn't there anymore. |
from
this day on whenever i am home by myself i sit in front
of the tv with the door closed with the tv up as loud
as it can go so i can't hear anything at all.

Vivid
Encounter

I
was bush track driving with 4 friends we were having
a laugh and trying to freak each other out on a cold
dark night. I was in the back seat of the car and decided
to close my eyes and relax. A few minutes later (eyes
still closed) I could see an Aboriginal woman chasing
the car, she was wearing a brown long dress and had
the look of great distress on her face. She would of
been about 55/60. Out of nowhere 6 german Shepard dogs
leap onto the track and are chasing the woman.
At that point I start screaming at the driver telling
him to pull over and help the woman. I heard someone
say what woman? I was close to losing it at that point
and continued to yell pull over and help her. Next thing
I hear is laughter, they thought I was joking trying
to spin them out, by that time I was crying half out
of fear for myself and half out of fear for the woman.
I was so hysterical the driver started to freak out
and put his foot down and said "I'm getting the
f**k outta here!". I opened my eyes and everything
was back to normal no woman no dogs just a sense of
general unease from everyone in the car, I bit my lip
and closed my eyes and to my distress the woman and
the dogs were back.
I felt the car leave gravel and hit the road at the
same time the old Aboriginal woman changed form into
a young blonde haired girl about 15 and she was still
being chased by the dogs. She was wearing a black long
pencil skirt and what looked like one of those pink
cashmere sweaters. |
I told everyone that the old woman changed into the
girl and was still being chased by the dogs. The driver
all of a sudden screamed out the window "Help her
Agremere!". At that very moment my vision finished.
It was about 20 mins later we were all sitting at one
of the cars occupants house all visibly shaken, I asked
the driver why he called out the name Agremere? He just
answered "It just came into my head so I yelled
it".
To this day the driver and myself have some unseen bond
that we share, we sometimes talk about that night and
wonder who the women were and if they are okay.

Bigfoot
in Texas

On
Saturday afternoon (Feb 23rd 2002) the group went out
for a bit of a hike and found numerous markers and signs.
After supper everyone decided to get out and do a bit
of bigfooting.
On the road to the area we were going to be researching,
the lead vehicle's headlights caught a couple of the
creatures crossing the road. One held back and returned
to the side they were coming from and ran back into
the woods. They used spotlights and being in the back
vehicle and with the sliding door open to the van with
my camera going..... I picked up some dark shadow moving
and dropping to the ground as the light hit it. As we
slowly started moving we all heard a scream and I was
a bit afraid that it might be running our way in the
2nd vehicle and the sliding door was stuck so here we
were going down the road with the door wide open.
We got to the first site we were to check out and it
was wonderful. Total darkness and constant response
to the calls of Coonbo and Bear. It was exhilarating.
There were series of screams and calls and each time
were getting closer and eventually had us surrounded.
We decided it was time to move out and as Coonbo was
pulling forward and I was trying to get the van shut
I heard charging footsteps and then over the motors
and thru closed windows we heard a very challenging
howl and it was very close to the truck as it was moving
away.
We stopped at another spot about 3/4 mile away where
we had found numerous markers. When we got out, we could
still hear the one that had charged us throwing a fit.
Sounded as if he was so angry he could spit because
he didn't get to us.
Then the ruckus started again about 1/4 mile from where
we were. I was able to catch something cross the road
down in front of our vehicles out the corner of my eye
as I was turning around. I was getting all sorts of
eerie feelings even though I was excited and not afraid. |
The sounds they made sounded so angry and excited. We
were able to hear growls and grunts that sounded like
they could have been as close as 25ft away. There was
also movement in the woods behind us before I caught
a glimpse of the thing cross the road ahead of us.
All in all this was the most wonderful experience I've
had thus far. The sounds they made and with such ferocity
were so much different than what I have heard here where
our research is.
I'm hoping that we are able to get some response here
by using some of the calls heard this weekend.
I am planning to get together with some of the other
researchers from our group and go back to Texas sometime
real soon. I really would love to get some better video
footage and recordings.

Psychic
Abilities
Submitted by: gogh (03/03/02)
|
Hi
I am writing to introduce myself and hopefully come
into contact with like minded people. I have had psychic
abilities ever since I can remember and this has had
it's good and bad elements. The first experience I recall
clearly was the events leading up to the death of my
father's father.
Grandpa visited me in recurring dreams until I predicted
his death when I was only very young. I feel, see, hear
and can communicate with spirits on their terms. I feel
that I am helped in my day to day life by a power greater
than myself and thoughts I receive which I don't think
of! Sounds bizarre but for me the movie 'Always'
explained the way this occurs. I don't necessarily believe
in all the concepts of the movie but the communication
process is definitely accurate.
I
get rather trivial messages and sometimes the messages
are a little more serious. I had a premonition about
Ebony Simpson, a little girl drowned in NSW by a convicted
Andrew Garforth. Also premonitions about earthquakes,
people lost or murdered, car accidents and things which
people I know will do in the future. Whatever I get
I have no control over and sometimes I get angry as
things can seem futile when I am powerless to prevent
many occurrences but there must be some rhyme and reason
to these things no matter what it is or isn't. |
It
has taken me a very long time to come to terms with
my 'gift'. If not for the amount of times it has kept
me safe and even saved my life I would probably gladly
do without it. It hurts when people refuse to believe
you or will not listen. Now I've learnt that this is
a part of me. It's meant to be and the best I can do
is accept it and rely on a greater power's guidance
to help me each day. It is part of my life, not all
my life.
I
do want to help people and I do want to share my gift.
It's lonely sometimes because I have only a few people
I can discuss it with and nobody I am in regular contact
with who shares my gift or my beliefs about it. One
downfall is people trying to impress upon you there
beliefs about psychic ability. I would like to help
other psychics understand their gift and share experiences
with them. I have lots of stories I'd like to tell but
for now, thank you for this site and please post me
a message and have a chat. I love to meet new people
and discuss ideas and experiences. I will be as open
minded as a I can be and hopefully as helpful as I can
be also.
Peace and love, gogh
