What
happened at the cemetery..

It
was when me and my family had our annual visit to our
deceased loved ones at the cemetery (of course).
me and my two other siblings decided to go around the
cemetery for we are bored. my father said he'll just
stay where we left him. so we went on.
at this particular area where a big tree stood still,
dark and creepy, we went about to search and play around
the tree. but when suddenly, the surroundings felt cold.
my siblings start to get scared, and so do i. my brother
turned around coz he said he saw our father. i didn't
believe him for he was with mom at grandpa's tomb. when
suddenly, the image disappeared. |

well
my nana had just died 2 nights before, and on the 3rd
day we went to her viewing.
they had a smell in the room it was like flowers, nana's
favourite, and we all said our last goodbye's.
that night i was lying in bed reading a book, when everything
went cold, i pulled up my blankets but i was still freezing.
then i smelled the strongest smell, it was the smell
from the viewing room, it was nana
i was so scared i said aloud please go see mum. and
then it went back to normal nearly straight away.
the next year, on the same date, i was in my bedroom
( a different one) and it was about 12 'clock that night
then all of a sudden i woke up freezing i looked around
my room, i saw this figure standing half in door and
half out, this was unusual because my door was closed,
and then i looked harder to see it was see through,
it was waving at me and telling me to go with it and
follow it,
i was so scared that i grabbed my clock and pushed the
button that turned a light on in the clock and shined
it where the ghost was, it disappeared and i turned
my tv on to make sure it didn't come back.
after this experience i have believed in ghosts, it
still scares me. |

Glenfield
Spirit

When
I was a teenager (a number of years ago now) I lived
in a house which was near the old Glenfield farm in
NSW.
It was an ex-display home, so you would think it would
be clean of ghosts etc.. I don't think so!
From the first night in the house "something" would
sleep next to me at night and I would wake up with bruisers
on me, you would see shadows on the walls.
There was one day when I saw a male in a long black
coat and top hat me standing behind me when I looked
in a mirror and then a couple of nights later Mum was
woken up by the dog barking at a male standing in her
doorway which looked the same.
There were smells coming from god knows where, things
would disappear then reappear, a little girl would call
out for my brother (which everyone heard), my radio
and stereo would turn itself on and off or change stations
when I was listen to it or skip songs when listening
to CD's.
We lived there for nearly seven years, but the most
freaky thing that ever happen was when I moved out.
That night my brother wake my parents to say there was
someone in my room. They went down to have a look, what
they saw scared the crap out of them. The bedroom door
was closed but was shaking, the light was turing on
and off, they could hear the cupboard doors opening
and closing and the radio was turning on and off as
well. |
No one went in and had a look, but when morning came
it was all over, they went in and had a look, but nothing
had been touched.
Mum said a peaceful feeling came over the house and
nothing ever happened after that.
A few years later I was talking about this to a psychic
friend of mine, and she told me that the male which
was "attacking" me was the one, and was a traveling
spirit who attached themselves to me.

Death
School

(Note: sorry for mistakes, I'm 15 years old and I don't
speak English very good, so I can do some mistakes when
I write)
When I was 12 years old, I went to a new school.
Before there was not anything strange, but after in
school everybody started to broken their parts of the
body. In one month there was a half of school with broken
hands, legs, necks and any more parts of the body...
One day me and my two friends were playing in the play
ground, and I have founded a strange stone, that was
deep in the Earth, but it was not a stone like the other
stones in the walls of school, it was different, and
my friend told me that its could be the stone of the
DEATH SCHOOL that is under this school.
The next day I've came first to the school, in the passageway
I've heared some laughter from the girl's toilet, I
went in, opened the door and.... Oh my god!!!!!!!!!!!!
There was the girl inside, but she was all white, and
down her was the blood... Many blood. |
She
looked at me and smiled, then she's disappeared. Bud
the blood no.
I was so scared, so i've screamed and fell down. My
friend has founded me in the floor. She's asked to me
what's happend, but I couldn't talk.
I've looked to the place where was blood, and it was
there. I've showed it to my friend, but she couldn't
see it. The other day in that toilet we've seen four
big rats. And two more times i've seen that girl in
blood and with knife. Than one day I told to my mother
to change the school, and I've told the reason. I've
got luck that my mom belive, and so we went to the other
city. For I don't scare any more about that place and
that girl.

Hallo,
This isn't an experience but info for people.
One of my personal hobbies is ghost hunting, and as
I do it so often I have an add in the local paper, if
you have had a personal experience, or know of a haunted
place or think they have herd about or roumors about
haunting then please let me know.
We I get alot of questions asked and I have put down
a list of FAQs (Frequently Asked Questions) that I often
get asked, and hope to help people understand more about,
what I believe.
Q: Why do people beieve in ghosts?
A: People will often not believe in ghosts or hauntings
often until it happens to them weither it is in their
own home or elsewhere.
Q: Dose someone have to die in an area or place
for it to be haunted?
A: Not all the time, becase I often think about hospitals,
people die in hospitals almost everyday and I have never
herd of haunted hospitals before. But no not all the
time infact one case that I read in the Singleton Argust,
and also from someone who rung me up after be scared.
About a preast from a local Chirch who died after a
Brutal murder in the cemetery in 1918, and the chirch
he served was just behind the cathloc school and two
visitors have said during the day while praying, they
have seen a very light figer of a preast walking behind
the alive preast with a bloody head wound just woundering
around looking daised, and he disserpears at the end
of the pryer.
I have tryed to chirch twice, first time I was fine,
2nd time I didn't see anything, but I did feel uneasy,
so whos to know. But no a person dose not have to die
in the building or place for it to be haunted.

Q: What is the worst experience yo have ever
had?
A: I have a good number but the latest would have to
be Maitland Gaol, I don't know why but I want down the
hallway down to the celler area by myself with a night
vision video camra, what happend is one that I am proud
of, but also wish it would go out of my memorie as son
a possible.
What I saw I swear was in the second cell on your left
as you come in from the hall way, I saw what look like
two inmate spirits and one was a tall skinny guy who
was continuely stabbing another spirit who was groning.
I was S**T scared I wanted to run, but had to film it,
well my camra was acting wiered, it turn off twice while
the lever was switched to camra/record, and the battery
was fully charged. So I only got a bit. But still bloody
scarey.
Well they are the main three, I get more questions but

Glimpse
into the past?

I
was visiting Australia in July 1994, and was on a
tour out of Noosa Heads (Queensland) going to Frasier
Island.
We were with a group in a big SUV tour bus, going
down a beach , I believe called Twenty Mile Beach.
During our ride down this beach, we drove past a couple,
that only I saw. They were in "sepia tone", and did
not appear to me to be transparent. They were a woman
in 1930 or 1940 dress, and hairstyle (maybe earlier):
The man, whom she was hand in hand with, was in an
early century military uniform.
The thing I remember the most was his headgear. It
was one of those leather pilot caps with the earflaps,
and the goggles, which was pushed up on the top of
his head. They were having a jovial conversation,
completely absorbed in one another, not noticing this
big tour bus in which we were roaring past. They were
definitely a young couple in love.

No one else saw them, or knew what I was talking about,
and when I looked back out of the tourbus, they had
vanished.
I remember that on this beach, or in this vicinity,
there were military ship wrecks, and stone cliffs with
old graffiti.
I often wonder if there was anyone else who had ever
witnessed them, or any other paranormal activity in
this area. I would love to hear from anyone who has
any information on the ghosts I have seen. email.....

Experience at the Street with No Name

Really freaky, I went there 23rd of October 2003 around
8:30pm, It took a while to find the area but managed
to find it by driving up this footpath up the back of
Jubilee Oval Annadale.
I wasnt alone of course i found around 20 parked in
the car park (due to people at soccer practice)
I remembered looking at the photos on this site of (The
Tomb) and where the homeless man was found dead and
realised i was in the right place....
There were too many people about and even the light
rail passing overhead (On the rail line)
The experience would have been different with no people
around. I hopped back in my car and started to drive
out under the rail track and then on my left side on
the other side of the overpass (behind or otherside
of The Tomb) I realised It was "The Street with no name"
It was pitch black but i remembered the photo taken
of the enterence to the street on this site.
So for fun i took a picture. i drove off up the path
out to the main road then pulled over. I noticed a white
roundish shaped cloud in the picture, I was really freaking
out@!!! My camera is a brand new Sony!

Haunted
Sleepover

| This is what had happened to my brother and a couple of his mates when they were over at my place for a b'day, it was the night of the anniversary of september 11th.
My brother had just turned 15 so he decided to have a couple of mates over for a sleepover. There were 5-6 of them sleeping in one room of our house, and it was about 2-3 am in the morning of September 11th 2003 this year when weird stuff started to happen in my brothers' room.
At first the happenings had started with the flapping of a corner of a fold-out bed and naturally the person who was sleeping in it was getting stroppy with the next person who was closest and he wasn't doing anything.
Before all this had happened my brother did say they started talking about the paranormal wether it may have triggered it off being Sep 11th and all we still don't know.
The second thing that was happening the Sony Playstation
was turning on and off repeatedly even when the chords
were taken out, my brother had grabbed a candle from
the kitchen and had lit it up and the flame went like
a blow torch and was hard to put out. |
A porcelain duck had turned around, and a blueish light
had passed by a mirror. The room did go dead cold before
these strange happenings had started, and also my brother
and another mate had thought I left my room they heard
foot steps in the hall and a voice, but I was asleep
all through the racket and carrying on, I thought I
could have possibly had an outer body experience and
annoyed them all, but I'm not sure.
The house we are living in is over 100 years old. On
occasions before this major happening in the house,
I have seen dark figures in the corner of my eye only
to look properly at them and see thin air on very late
nights, and another experience I have had is hearing
my parents up with voices and the light looked like
it was on still from my room and I had walked out to
find silence, but it was with a sudden stop with the
typing and the voices imitating my parents.

My mom, dad, my dog, and I were staying at my grandma's
house while waiting for my grandfathers funeral coming
up in a few days.
The night after the funeral my mom, dad, dog,and I were
sleeping upstairs in a spare room, with only one bed
{of course my parents got the bed}. I slept on a air
mattress by the door. There was a chair near by the
air mattress.
It was late I don't really know what the time was but,
I woke up {I really don't know why} and looked at the
chair close to me and saw something moving in the dark,
I couldn't tell what it was, I just assumed that it
was my dog, so I asked my mom "where is Cheyanna??"
my mom answered " In her cage, why??"
I freaked, I looked over at the chair was turned around
so I saw a figure of something. The first thing that
I thought was it must be grandpa, but I don't know if
I totally believe in ghosts. All I do know is that I
saw something, but usually I would have totally got
up and made a scene {thats just the dramatic person
that I am} but something kept me calm and helped me
fall back asleep, I don't know maybe it was the thought
of it being my grandpa.
The next morning I thought I had just dreamed it all.
Thaen my mom asked me why I asked her where cheyanna
was in the middle of the night. Ofcourse me being the
drama queen I told everyone what I had saw. I still
can't get over it, because I don't know who or what
I saw.

Mat's UFO Encounter

| This
experience happend to myself and my girlfriend late
at night in bayside melb.
We drove to the local service station to get ciggeretes,the journey there was unaventful the servo being 1km away down a straight tree lined road.
On returning home we both noticed a brilliant white light high in the sky and directly over the road (it was a cold clear winter night). My girlfriend commented on it and I said it must be a helicopter with a searchlight as she was saying this the light went from high in the sky to treetop level verticaly and at a speed so fast we thought a helicopter did crash.
By this stage I had pulled over to the side of the road and killed the engine. As we were looking at where the light had seemed to dissapear a slow moving red and green flashing light could be seen coming towards us at treetop level parallel to the road. It was at this point it became apparent it was no helicopter it looked like a thick saucer with three square windows on the side with red and green flashing lights at each end. It had a metallic silvery appearence and was totally silent ,(my engine was off and window was down).
This disc flew very slowly and stoped when it reached our car,we were both just staring at it when my gf yelled out "their looking in my head"
this snapped me out of it and I went from being curious to absolutely terrified I have never felt such fear.I also had a distinct impression that the saucer could look into my mind.
Terrified I restarted the car and gunned it home. It then followed us down the road.
I lost sight of it at this point but my gf could see
it following. In my haste to get away i missed my driveway
and had to do a u-turn to get back, the saucer then
doubled back still following. |
It changed direction rapidly almost instantly and i
could see it again through the windscreen. My driveway
then came up and i drove into it we got out and ran
to the front door as we looked back it flew overhead
and disappeared west over Port Phillip Bay.
Two things stange happend after this both i and my girlfriend
totaly forgot this experience till about a week later
we both though this really wierd as we were terrified
at the time also when we mentioned it to our housemate
he had seen lights around same period and said his impression
of the lights was that they "were struggling to be there",
varying in intensity. Both my gf and I had made comments
to each other along similar lines. At times the object
was almost too brilliant the reds to red and the green
too green like when your tv's colour is turned up too
much and at other times it appeared almost ghosty and
washed out.
